The Constitutionlised Agenda of Somaliland is the Occupation of the Norhern Somali Clans by one Clan.
USA:-(RT)I am writing in response to a writing by Ibrahim Mead in the title, Somaliland cause on clash with the Ruler’s Bottom line, released on halbeegnews, Harowo news and Qarannews on July 28.
Ibrahim’s critique of Siilanyo corruption is something we all know and in that regard the writer presents himself as a concientious intellectual in the intention of correction and an advocate for transparency and justice. Any reader who followed Ibrahim’s previous presentations must, by now, realized how his political vision is always based on division and die-hard, seperatist, somalilandism.
He never tries to understand what somaliland stands for, when it was coined, how it was made and what its history was. No reasonable person can deny the fact that Somaliland is as a one clan dominated administrative system that was founded in Burao in the 1991 by SNM, no need to know SNM was who. Historically, British somaliland was a combination of tribes who managed their territories seperately. In our present days, people like Ibrahim are busy in distorting history by projecting the current SNM coined Somaliland with the long gone tribally administered lands and peoples of British Protectorate Somaliland.
Ibrahim attempts to copy the footsteps of an intellectual mentality but his reasons carry all the hallmarks of the Hargeisa street political commentator. This is what he said,“ These conferences also elevated him as a leader of “Somaliween” who called Somaliland not be her name but ‘Northern brothers whom their anger can be managed”. Our intellect rationale, if at all we have it, should suppress such words in situations when Somalis in different regions embrace their destined brotherhood.
When southerners call us their brothers why do we deny them? They are our brothers and sisters. When it comes to the question of anger, Ibrahim and many other so called northern intellectuals should understand that bad government destroyed both northern and southern somalia. Anyone who rejects this fact is not telling the truth.
Again the question who is going to forgive who, SNM leaders should seek forgiveness from Awdal whom they destroyed without the least justication. SNM wiped towns, villages and massacred the whole Borama population. Awdal people forgot that and they forgave SNM and why others in the north cant forget the bad government that demolished the whole country.
In another article, Treason was committed against Somaliland, released and Qarannews.com on June 3, 2012 this self-styled political analyst wrote the following:
“Although it was London (Somalia) conference which they shamed us and which they laid the ground for “Somaliaizing Somaliland” however this time they sold not only our soul, not only our dignity but the principles and aspirations of Somaliland”.
In a previous article of mine, Beware of Somalilander’s Myth, in response to Ibrahim’ I pointed how unbelievable it is to conceptualize Ibrahim’s words such as “ Somalizing Somalilalnd”. We are not being baptized into Somalism today but have been Somalis since our creation and from generation to generation. As somalilander’s, there is no reasonable justification for distancing ourselves from other Somalis.
An intellectual healthy mind should underestand that all our country was destroyed by bad government, not only Hargeisa. I was in Mogadishu when it was heavily bombarded from end to end and without discrimination. Bad governments have mistreated their people in different parts of the world. Because of one bad government I dont have to run away from my identity. I live in Somaliland but I pride with my Somalism. I also dont believe in separate somaliland from the great country and people of Somalia.
In the present days, desspite the fact that our system of intellectual property is badly broken, there are those who seek to break it even further and this man’s thinking is a true picture and an ugly one.
A realistic view of intellectual limitation is when it becomes a disease rather than a cure. That is when it arises not from a principled intellectual mind but from an obnoxious combination of medieval thinking and guilds.
Today, SNM exclusive tribal forces occupay Gadabursi lands of Degmolaqas, Farta Laguxidh, Geerisa, Caadda and other locations. Ocuupation of one tribe by another is a constitutionalised agenda of Somaliland. SNM said they fought that yesterday but doing it to others. I can do it too for sure, no doubt.
